Weight Watchers Week 7

I went this morning for my weekly weigh-in and
I am down
2.2lbs
this week.  Woohoo! I've lost a total of 6.8lbs.  I had a hiccup a few weeks ago but have been on track since then.

While out to dinner last night I was trying to determine what to order.  I sat there and looked and looked at the menu and told myself, "I know that I have been making healthier choices . . . even if the scale doesn't show that tomorrow."  I think I am still stuck in the area that most people get in where I pay way too much attention to what the number on the scale says rather than the way I feel, the way I look, and still allowing myself to cheat a bit here and there so that I don't totally burn out.

I have 1.6lbs to go until I reach 8% of my goal weight and 9.6lbs to go until I actually reach my goal.

Weight Watchers Week 6

I am down 1.6lbs!  I am so happy because that is even with me going out for my birthday this past Saturday night.

I just finished Day 16 of the 30 Day Shred and I can really tell that it is helping!

Weight Watchers Week 4 Weigh-In

Week 4 Weigh-In wasn't as great as I planned.  I actually gained 1.4lbs.  You would think that I would be upset about this but I'm not.

I have worked my tail off this week doing the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, part of my 101 in 1001 is to finish the thing.  I finished up Day 8 today.  On top of the Shred, I have also been doing lots of push-ups and crunches just randomly through the day.

I know that I have lost inches so I'm not THAT upset about the weight.

What about you guys?  Do you care more about what the scale says or how you feel/look?

Weight Watchers Week 3 Weigh In

I was really nervous about today's weigh-in.  We have been cooped up in this house all week and, of course, that leads to boredom which can lead to random snacking.  Plus, I knew that I didn't eat very well on Sunday because of football day.

Anyway, I was ecstatic (literally, jumping up and down) when I saw that I lost another 1lb!

Down a total of 4.4lbs in 3 weeks!!

The New Weight Watchers Point Plus

I am on Day 4 of Weight Watchers and I cannot believe how full I feel.  For those of you who are used to the old Weight Watchers, things have changed.  Here are some changes:

*Fruits and most vegetables are now 0 points.  You can eat as many fruits and vegetables (besides potatoes, corn) that you want and they are 0 points.
*You also get 49 Weekly Bonus points to use anytime.
*You still earn activity points.

I am still not ready to tell you my initial weight (I'll get there once I hit a milestone or two) but I was surprised to see that I get 29 points a day.  29!  I can hardly even make it to 29 points.

Here's an example of what I've eaten each day:

Day 1
Breakfast:
-Jimmy Dean D-Lights Turkey Sausage Bowl-6 points
    -Coffee (2 cups)-0 points

Snack:
   -Banana-0 points

Lunch:
   -WW Creamy Rigatoni Meal-5 points

Snack
    -Apple-0 points

Dinner
    -Beef Roast-3 points
    -1/4 cup corn-1 point
-1 cup steamed green beans-0 points

Snack
-WW Rosemary and Olive Oil pretzels-3points
    -Salsa-0 points
    -Whole grain popcorn-5 points

I still had 3 points leftover!  Of course, I drank lots and lots of water, too.

I joined there Montly Pass program which includes the online tools good for recipes, activity tracking, food tracking, and unlimited meetings for $39.95/month.

I cannot wait until Monday to see my new weight!

*All view stated here are mine and mine alone.  This was not a paid endorsement and I received nothing from Weight Watchers to talk about the new Points Plus program.
