We spent all day Saturday and most of the morning Sunday putting up Christmas decorations on the house. Scott says that he will never do it again. He was really scared when he got up on top of the house so he moved around to the front and climbed up and down the ladder for over 4 1/2 hours. I want to get some more snowflake lights but other than that, I think it looks pretty good for our first time.
It looks great! Jeff's finally figured out a way to put lights up on our house. He's doing it tomorrow & I am SUPER excited!!! I want candy canes too, but I don't think that's gonna work. Tell Scott he did a great job! I'm sure the kids love it!
ReplyDeleteLooks really good. I will have to come see them at night. I don't blame Scott for not liking being on the roof. That is a tall house!!
ReplyDeleteRiss, you can get candy canes at Wal-Mart for 2.50 each. He says he is definitely not climbing up on that roof next year or up on the ladder. It took him a long, long time. Thank God Corey, the neighbor, came over to help.
ReplyDeleteAfter doing it for the last three years, dave said the same thing...and I know I am not getting up there. So, this year we have lights all through our trees. I'll have to take pictures, if I can get my lights to stop blowing fuses!
ReplyDeleteHe griped the whole time but now he is proud that we are one of the only ones that has lights "at the top". A lot of people just put them on their front porch overhang.
