It's Official!

Yes, I managed to get up this morning to watch the Royal Wedding.  Kate looked amazing in her Sarah Burton, the Alexander McQueen designer, dress.  It was timeless.

I thought it was really cute that William kept giving Kate little sly glances and smirks.

Then, there was the kiss.

Now, I can't wait until naptime!

Review: Walgreens Brand Green Tea Dietary Supplements

This is a compensated post written by me on behalf of Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

This week I was given the opportunity to try Walgreens Brand Green Tea Dietary Supplements.

 Like most of us, I would love to curb my appetite and lose a few pounds.  I have heard that Green Tea can help take away some of those cravings so I jumped at the chance to try Walgreens Brand Green Tea Dietary Supplements.  I was a little skeptical because I did NOT want to experience that jittery, butterfly feeling that sometimes comes with taking herbal products.  I am happy to report that I had none of the negative side effects that I feared.  Walgreens Brand Green Tea Dietary Supplements is a natural and drug-free product, which was very important to me.

As part of Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products, each purchase of Walgreens Brand Green Tea Dietary Supplements supports preventive wellness services in local communities through the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™.  Walgreens will contribute up to $3 million each year to the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™ which will provide free preventive health tests, as well as, other health services to local communities in need

Will You Be Watching?

I will!  I am planning on getting up at 4am to watch and I most certainly will be DVR'ing it just in case I fall asleep.  Isn't there something truly romantic and fairytail-ish about a normal common girl marrying a Prince and not just any Prince but the Prince that will be King someday.  I was watching show about William and Kate and they said that Kate used to have posters of William on her wall back when she was in her early teens.  How cool is that?

I distinctly remember being 7-years-old and being glued to the TV when Prince Charles married Diana.

I remember thinking that that was a real Prince and Princess and what little girl doesn't dream of growing up to be a princess.

Will you be watching?

Toddler Talk: Bedtime Routines

I am linking back up today with Toddler Talk Thursday.
Crazy About My Baybah

Our bedtime routine is fairly easy . . . easy for me that is.  I have to admit that I am usually not all that involved with the bedtime routine other than giving goodnight kisses.  Scott has kind of taken over the routine for all 3 kids because he usually has to get up early for work.  I so appreciate that he does this because it gives me time at night to catch up on laundry, DVR, and, of course, blogging.

Kanin (7) takes a shower at 8:00 each night.  The babies (3, 1) get a bath about every other night.  With 2 little ones it is easier to throw them in the tub together and we don't get to it every night.  On bath nights, both Scott and I wash them.  He takes one and I take the other.

Around 8:30 it is time to brush teeth and then time to wind down.  They will either lay down with Gaga for a bit or in the toddler bed that is in our room.

(There is a whole post about these pajamas that I need to write.)

By 9:00-9:30 everyone is in their own beds.

Mother's Day Gifts-Gardening

If you have a Mother, Grandmother, Aunt or anyone who loves to garden, I've found a couple of deals for you.

First, you can grow Blueberries right in your own home.  You can get 2 plants for $10 plus Shipping and Handling.  Plus, you will get a FREE plant.  These would be fantastic in your daily smoothie.

Secondly, I found this offer where you can grow Tomatoes.  You get 3 tomato plants for $10 plus Shipping and Handling and you get 3 Earlies FREE.  Who doesn't love fresh tomatoes in the summer?

What I'm Loving Wednesday

{1}
I'm loving . . . this piece written by Tina Fey entitled "A Mother's Prayer for Its Children."  Witty and poignant.

{2}
I'm loving . . . this new site, Rue La La.  Designer sales are the best.

{3}
I'm loving . . .that we were able to spend Easter with our family.  We had such a good time.

{4}
I'm loving . . . the Insanity workout.  There is no way that I can tell you how hard this workout is.  I have sweat more in the last 2 days than I have in all of my other workouts combined.  The funny thing is, though, that I love it!  I can't wait to rock a bikini in Vegas in June!  I found the entire set on Ebay and only paid $40.

{5}
I'm loving . . . that I have a 5K on Saturday morning and golf Saturday afternoon.  I just pray that they both don't get rained out.

{6}
I'm loving . . . this man more and more each day

and, of course, these monsters.

P.S. Don't forget my Shaklee Giveaway that ends this Friday!  There are 0 entries right now and 5 people will win a Basic H2 Sample.  Enter today!

Wordless Wednesday

Kanin's Spring Party

Last week Kanin had his 1st Grade Spring Party.  Things have been crazy in the St. Louis area between the storms and Easter so I am just now getting around to posting about it.

We have a wonderful mom, Cheryl, who has taken on all of the parties and has really come up with some great themes.  The Spring Party theme was "Carnival".  We had planned on being outside and really letting the kids get some energy out but with it raining every single day we improvised and moved the party inside.

The kids threw hacky sacks at some cans and won a prize.

There was also a game where they tossed a ball and tried to land it in the holes of a blown up square.  Here is Kanin with his BFF, Blake.

The kids also did potato sack races individually and then we put 2 kids in a bag kind of like the three-legged race.  They had popcorn in these cute popcorn holders for a snack.

It was a really fun time for the kids and I am so blessed to be able to go to these parties.  I can't believe that we are through our last 1st grade party and these babies will be moving on to 2nd grade in just a few short weeks.

P.S. Don't forget to enter into my Shaklee Giveaway that ends this Friday at noon.  There are VERY low entries and 5 people will win a sample of the Basic-H2 awesome, organic cleaner.

Pray for Missouri!

Friends~Missouri needs your prayers.

It has been raining consistently for at least 4 or 5 days a week for at least 3 weeks.  We have had severe storms and tornados.  Friday night there were several tornadoes that ripped through St. Louis.  One of these tornadoes was an EF4 and destroyed several homes, blew out the windows of the airport and actually moved planes on the tarmac.  By the grace of God, no one was killed in the entire city and there were just minor injuries.

We had to drive downtown on Sunday evening and I grabbed my camera at the last minute, here are some pics that I took while driving down the interstate.

The airport windows were boarded up.

While we haven't had any severe storms since Friday night, the rain has been a constant.  There are Flash Flood warning everywhere and now the levee has broken in Poplar Bluff, MO, (about 150 miles from St. Louis) and the town is being evacuated.  I just read a FB status from a friend who lives in my hometown, Bell City, MO, and she said that the levee outside of town has broken and that the river is 80 foot wide already and they will soon start evacuating, too.

We need your prayers, please!

To donate to help the victims of the tornado and floods, go to the American Red Cross.

Rue La La

I don't know if you guys remember or not but a few weeks ago on one of my What I'm Loving Wednesday posts I mentioned that I was loving (and wanting) a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses.  My friend, Jami, has these awesome sunglasses that I have obsessed about ever since I first saw them.  I think she has the "Miranda".

Anyway, yesterday another friend, Janice, invited me to join an online shopping boutique called Rue La La and what do you know?  Right now they are running a Tom Ford boutique special.  I got a $20 credit just for joining and there are tons of different specials comming up.  If you want to check it out and shop (and get yourself a $20 credit), just go here.

I used the sample to clean my counter.  Our coffeepot sits back and we pull it up to the front.  When we do this it makes a black streak:

I just pumped a couple of sprays of the Basic H-2 and the streak was gone:
