Kids Opening Day

Today was a great day!  Since we didn't get to go to Opening Day, we decided that today would be our own Opening Day.  Scott and I each commented before we left that we were more excited about today than we were about the actual Home Opener.

Here Caleb is wearing the Albert Pujols jersey that Kanin got when he was 2.  First it was Kanin's, then it went to Gracie, and today was the first day for Caleb to wear it.  I was so happy to see this smile from Caleb.  It is really hard to actually capture this sweet smile because he is always on the move.

It was a perfect day in St. Louis.  65 degrees with a light wind and lots of sunshine.

Of course everytime we take the kids to the game, we HAVE to go see Fredbird.

I thought enough ahead to bring the Ergo Baby carrier.  Caleb slept for the first 5 innings of the game.

Today was Kids Opening Day so there were all kinds of clowns, clowns twisting balloons, face-painters, and while we were waiting in line for Fredbird they were handing out coloring books and crayons.  This kept Gracie occupied for a couple of innings.

This is the view from our seats in Left Field Bleachers.  Love this section and love the people we sit by.  They have become great friends over the past 5 years.
