A few weeks ago I was driving by the Mid Rivers Mall and noticed on the billboard that Dora the Explorer was going to be there for a meet and greet on June 4. Gracie has had a Dora obsession for about the last 7-8 months so I was excited to get to take her. Our friends, Sue and Jacob, met us up there, too.
Kanin told me that he was not going to meet Dora and he stayed true to his word. He brought his DSI and pretty much played it the whole time.
The line to meet Dora opened at 11am and we got to the mall around 10:40. This was the line behind us . . .
and this was the line in front of us . . .
There were more people in line to meet Dora than I have ever seen to meet Santa Claus. Finally, aound 11:40, we made our way up to the front and Gracie got to meet her.
Jacob was next in line.
While, personally, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't like a big Disney type character both Gracie and Jacob loved meeting her. Neither one of them would talk to her while they were sitting there but as soon as we walked away Gracie said she wanted to go back and ask where Diego was.
We had a good day meeting Dora and hanging out with our friends!
