Today was the day. I started a deep cleaning of my house. I got this idea from Sarah over at Clover Lane. Sarah did this last year so I was hoping that she would do it again this year so that I could join in. To see some of Sarah's tips, click HERE.
I decided to start in the master bathroom. All five of us take showers and baths in this bathroom so it gets dirty very quickly.
Of course I had a helper . . .
This basket is supposed to hold hair stuff.
Here is all of the stuff crap that was stuffed down in there.
I really need a new make-up bag. This one is stuffed to the guilds.
I am either going to giveaway, donate, or sell this stuff at consignment.
After the bathroom, I moved on to the master bedroom. The nightstand/armoire/TV stand was a mess.
This is such a super great idea! I think I just might join in!
ReplyDeleteDecluttering is always rewarding. You can also try to donate some of your unnecessary stuff to charity.
ReplyDeleteLovely this post and nice idea for unnecessary stuff.....
ReplyDeleteWow, good job in one day. I am very impressed!
ReplyDeleteYup...I'm joinin' in. I've posted about it at http://homeschoolingbytheyard.blogspot.com/2011/03/divine-intervention-aka-40-bags-in-40.html and linked back..I hope that's okay!
ReplyDeleteMy son used to make the wardrobes look untidy, but after few years this has changed. Now he keeps all the room very clean and I am very happy of what I have achieved.

In most cases, the house stays in a complete mess because you don't have enough time to clean it up. To recover from such a situation, you require the help of a maid service.
