Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters
{1}  If you don't like the weather today, just wait until tomorrow . . .
Yesterday I went out and bought new running shoes.  It was 60 degrees on Saturday and 55ish yesterday so it definitely got me in the mood to start some hard training.

Of course, the day after I buy new running shoes I wake up to this:

It is supposed to be 73 on Thursday.  Crazy!!

{2} How am I supposed to work under these conditions?
Caleb has an obsession with our computers.  I see a new laptop in my future.  This is what I'm left with:

{3} What's for dinner?
Tonight I am trying out the Pioneer Woman's meatloaf recipe.  We'll see how that goes.  This is the first PW recipe that I have ever made. Scott is excited because he loves meatloaf.

{4} Last shot of the season.
Kanin had his last hockey game this past Saturday (a different post later).  I'm a little sad that it is over but it took up a lot of time and I am ready for a break but I love watching him play.

{5} If you can spare $1, please help.
Last month my sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer.  She has had a couple of surgeries already and will start chemo on March 31.  In her honor, we started a team to walk in the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure here in St. Louis.  Our team goal is $1,000 and we currently have raised $465.  If you woud like to donate, please click here.  Even $1 will help!!

  1. So tired of the snow, but where I live snow is to be expected in the month of March. But we are supposed to warm up too this week. Can't wait!
I think you definitely have earned a new laptop, I was so happy when I got a new one.

  3. So so so so so tired of the snow. I can hardly wait till it all melts away. The irony? I so look forward to that first snowfall in the fall.
