Male or Female?

Yesterday I got my first-ever massage by a man.  When they told me that I would be put with James I thought,
"Oh, I've never had a man masseuse before.  I don't really know how I feel about that" but I really didn't think anymore about it until he took me back to the room and told me to undress down to my comfort level.

"Hmm.  What is my comfort level?  Do I get all of the way undressed like I normally would or leave underwear on.  If I leave underwear on then I won't get the full benefits.  If I take underwear off, I will be totally naked in a room with a strange man."

My lower back was killing me (the whole reason for the rushed massage) so I decided that he was a professional and went au natural.

So as I'm laying there in the buff with only a couple of blankets between me and a strange man I'd met only minutes earlier I thought to myself, "This is kind of weird.  I'm laying here while some strange man rubs me down with oil."  (I don't know why I have these ridiculous thoughts at the most inopportune times.)

While I was a little apprehensive about having a man, it ended up being fantastic.  It was honestly the best massage I have ever had.

Do you guys have a preference between female and male?  Do you/did you feel uncomfortable with a male?  When I was looking for a picture for this post, I came across this article.  Guess I'm not the only one who had the "Oh no, it's a man" thought come into my head.

BTW . . .be very careful Googling "pics of male masseuse" you get some *interesting* things that pop up.  LOL

  1. I'm actually not a fan of full-body massages (I know, weird, right?). But my husband is a chiropractor so I get an adjustment whenever I want it!
I used to go to a guy to get my hair cut, and he did a little head and neck massage that was excellent, better than any woman! I think it's the strength in their hands.
